Infertility Treatment

Infertility treatments for women are varied and many times very effectual. Most infertility treatments begin with a focus on ovulation induction. Ovulation irregularities are a major contributor to infertility.

Ovulation induction as an infertility treatment includes various fertility drugs, Clomid and/or Progesterone. These methods have been shown to be very successful infertility treatments. Most women who have ovulation irregularities have no need for more invasive infertility treatments.

Women who require more intensive infertility treatments usually opt for some sort of assisted reproduction infertility treatment. An assisted reproduction infertility treatment usually consists of medical assistance in helping conception along. Unlike Ovulation Induction, which focuses purely on ovary stimulation, assisted reproduction requires outside help even after eggs are produced regularly. This category of infertility treatments includes: In vitro Fertilization, Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, Assisted Zona Hatching, and/or Autologous Endometrial Coculture.

Third Party reproduction is the most extreme level of infertility treatments. These infertility treatments usually involve an outside party providing either an egg, sperm, or both to help the couple successfully conceive. Third Party reproduction infertility treatments include: Donor Insemination - Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Donor Embryo, Donor Sperm, and/or Surrogacy.
