Compulsive Overeating

Compulsive overeating disorder is also know as binge eating disorder due to the sufferer's inability to curb their eating.

Many people who suffer from compulsive overeating are in fact obese. Obesity is not only a clear outcome of compulsive overeating, it is an indication that something more internal is at the heart of the person's behavior.

Compulsive overeating is diagnostically characterized by an addiction to food, periods of uncontrolled eating. Post-eating often includes durations of guilt, embarrassment, self-esteem issues, and depression.

Compulsive Overeating, like any eating disorder is fully treatable, yet this requires a keen perception and awareness to catch it early on.
