Anorexia Symptoms

Although there are many signs and symptoms indicating anorexia nervosa, medically there is really only one way to be sure a person is suffering from anorexia nervosa and that is a loss of fifteen percent of his or her body mass from its original percentage. As mentioned there are other indications as well.

Other symptoms of anorexia include a distorted view of one's body weight and shape. Anorexics are obsessed with their weight and often speak of dieting even if it is obvious that they don't need to.

A keen sense of awareness and observation is key to knowing if a person really does have anorexia nervosa.
